Hi, Im Gemma and Im the Driving Instructor for Drivetech. I have been teaching for the past 14 years and I enjoy teaching and preparing students to become safe on the road and for their driver test. NZTA Approved and a NZIDE Member.
This year I have decided to set up a Facebook page to share road code updates to keep you updated with the changes. Often I get openings for driver tests (restricted or full) through VTNZ, when these do come up, I will be putting them on there on a first in first served basis. ..........Changes for 2025..........
Due to a number of no shows and late cancellations in 2024, I have decided that all bookings are to be paid for when the booking is made online. If a company is paying for this (and you aren’t able to pay by debit/credit card) you will be required to get a code from Gemma to make a booking and then a Invoice will be sent. To request this, please email gemma@drivetech.co.nz. If you are personal and would like to pay this off, please email or text to discuss this further.

Terms and Conditions
- Drivers must have their licence with them at all times
- Failure to produce your Drivers licence will result in the lesson being cancelled with no refund.
- If you are supplying your own vehicle it must be up to Warrant Fitness Standard.
- The Driving Instructor has the right to cease or cancel the lesson at anytime, if they believe; the driver is either under the influence of alcohol or drugs and/or is not in a fit emotional state to safely undertake the lesson. This is at the sole discretion of our instructor, no dispute will be entered into and no refund will be given.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation when your lesson is rescheduled or cancelled with more than 24 hours notice. Lessons cancelled within 24 hours of the lesson are non refundable and will be charged. Drives with more than 24 hours notice your welcome to reschedule the booking yourself online through the booking app or within 24 hours you will be required to cancel by text or email Gemma 027 826 1639 gemma@drivetech.co.nz
